Use Your Valuable Experience

As a former military officer or NCO, you are a respected resource

Are you worried you don’t have any credibility outside of the military?

Although you may not have experience in the business world, as a former military officer or NCO you have credibility as a leader. You worked hard for that experience, and believe it or not, even without certifications potential clients will see you as a valuable resource based on your knowledge and training.

Are you concerned about the viability of this industry and market?

  • There is currently a leadership gap – the need is greater than the supply
  • Companies are outsourcing the leadership coach function and people don’t have time to mentor
  • Companies are hiring thousands of coaches

Go From Leader To Coach

Our workshop will help you make the shift

Although the business world may seem like a very foreign place compared to the military, there are a surprising number of similarities. To successfully shift from military-style mentoring to executive coaching we’ll teach you to:

  • Leverage the similarities and bridge the gaps between your military background and your client’s experiences.
You’ll gain an understanding of the many similarities and how to bridge the differences between military and non-military cultures.
  • Build upon your existing credibility and overcome your personal blind spots and limitations.
We’ll reveal the best way to use your many well-honed leadership instincts and skills, while recognizing and overcoming your assumptions, blind spots, and limitations.
  • Master the approaches to the most common leadership coaching scenarios.
The approaches and techniques you have already learned have worked well in the military; you’ll need to better understand some additional frameworks, approaches, and language.

Continue The Calling

Pursue the same sense of mission and purpose you had in the military

Enjoy the same sense of gratification you had from mentoring other military leaders to coaching business leaders and executives who need your help:

  • The pride you feel when you’ve helped someone transform into a better version of themselves.
  • The lifelong relationships you created when you’ve gone through some tough situations together and emerged victorious with that deep sense of mission accomplishment.

We’d love to help you succeed as a Leadership Coach!

Hear From Our Clients

United States Marine Corps Officer – Joe Alegmano

“Todd is truly one of a kind. His investment in your well-being, his commitment to your future and his sincere friendship are all reasons that make Todd unique. For more than 5 years, Todd has assisted me through my transition out of the military. Each and every time that I spend time with Todd, he impresses me with his: positivity, enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine care for my future. He has the rare ability to understand the challenges and obstacles of each situation and then identify them as opportunities where you can show strengths or develop new skills. He is a true professional, exceptional friend, and excellent coach. I genuinely know that am a better person because of my friendship with Todd.”

United States Air Force Officer – Paul Theinprayoon

“I owe my success to Todd’s unwavering support and guidance. Thank you, Todd!!”

United States Navy Officer – Brad Brezinski

“Making a successful transition from a military career into the civilian sector requires the same kind of careful planning, tireless preparation, and dogged determination that many veterans have grown accustomed to during their years of service. However, there still exists a rather large chasm between the military member’s perspective of corporate America and the reality of most situations. Bridging that gap requires wisdom, support and coaching from someone who has been there and walked a mile in those shoes – so to speak. Todd is without a doubt the right person for that job! I interviewed nearly a dozen executive coaches, and consider myself extremely fortunate to have met Todd. His background and expertise made him a natural fit. Todd’s care and commitment to helping fellow veterans was immediately apparent. During the eight months I worked with Todd, I learned a tremendous amount about myself and my place in the corporate landscape. Thanks to his tireless effort and dedication to my development, I gained a new appreciation for what I am capable of achieving – and a belief that I can compete with anyone in the highest levels of business. I can’t possibly thank Todd enough, and would highly recommend him to any transitioning military member or business executive looking to make the leap from good to great!”

United States Army Officer – Colonel Mark A. Hatfield, USA (Ret.)

“I had the pleasure of working with Mark Cappone as I retired from the Army and began exploring new career opportunities. Mark thoroughly proctored the Birkman personality assessment to help me better understand my behavioral and occupational tendencies. Mark was a huge help; his sessions were personal and engaging and provided me the confidence I needed during my career transition. His leadership and communication skills are superb. I highly recommend Mark for your coaching needs!”

United States Army Non-Commissioned Officer – Robert Shoe

“As a veteran turned serial entrepreneur, I consider Kyle a valuable member of my personal advisory team. We have known each other for over six years and I’ve found his wide breadth of experience across multiple industries combined with a coaching style aimed at growing my strengths has helped fuel my continued successes as I move from one endeavor to another. I highly recommend Kyle for your coaching needs.”

Frequently Asked Questions

All 3 of you were in the Army. How can your program help people from other branches of the military?

Our approach is not specific to the background of any one service.

All 3 of you were officers. How can you successfully help NCOs?

The same knowledge, skills, and abilities learned as a commissioned officer and non-commissioned officer can be used to be a very effective leadership coach.

Can’t I find similar programs through SCORE, TAP or universities?

Yes, you can. Some of these programs are free and you get what you paid for. Some are needlessly expensive and you don’t get what you paid for. Our approach is customized to the unique experiences of former military leaders, just like us, who have built successful coaching practices.

Why do I need to pay for this program when I can just figure it out myself with the skills I learned in the military?

Yes, you can figure this out on your own. Feel free. We just want to shorten the time it takes for you to do what you want to do… spend more time coaching.

Have you worked with any Fortune 100 companies?

Yes, we have. 4 of them to be exact. However, we have also worked with many Fortune 500 companies, large family-owned enterprises, and fast-growth startups.

Have you worked with any military leaders who have built their coaching business to millions of dollars?

It’s a rare coach that can honestly say they earn over a million dollars in annual coaching revenues. But, have we worked with coaches who have earned that over a few years… yes.

Why coach? The market is hot and I can develop a great career.

If you want to pursue the same sense of mission and purpose you had in the military, coaching provides a great opportunity to extend that sense of gratification from mentoring other military leaders to coaching business leaders and executives who need your help.

“A successful transition from a military career into the civilian sector requires the same kind of careful planning, tireless preparation, and dogged determination that many veterans have grown accustomed to during their years of service… ”

Bridging that gap requires wisdom, support and coaching from someone who has been there and walked a mile in those shoes… Todd is without a doubt the right person for that job!

I can’t possibly thank Todd enough, and would highly recommend him to any transitioning military member or business executive looking to make the leap from good to great!”
